Check-in

Check-in opens when an incident is declared. Depending on the form the BCP team chose, staff answer:

  • Are you safe? I am safe, or I need help, with an optional phone number they can be reached on now.
  • Situation at home: no flooding, water near the home, water inside, or evacuated.
  • Can you work? At the office, from home, partly, or not today.
  • Need help? Transport, emergency leave, temporary shelter or other. Several can be chosen.
  • An optional note.

The latest report is the person’s current status, and they can send a new one at any time. In daily rounds, staff check in once a day.

Staff are shown this before they submit, together with the retention period. No location is collected. The company e-mail must be on the staff register, so one person cannot report under another’s address.

Check-in answers are kept for the number of days the company sets and then deleted.
