Who it is for
A good fit
Section titled “A good fit”| If you are… | What you get |
|---|---|
| A fund management business: asset manager, private fund manager or unit-trust selling agent | Account opening, CDD, Re-KYC and AMLO filings. Monthly portfolio statements are sent to customers from FundConnext files. |
| A Digital Asset Dealer | The same core, plus mule-account tiers and transaction monitoring on the feed from your trading system. AERS files are prepared for AMLO forms 1-02 and 1-03. |
| An institution that already has onboarding | CDD Core on its own. It reads your existing customer source by file or API and adds the due-diligence layer without becoming a second customer master. |
| A group with several licensed companies | Several institutions on one platform. Each one sees only its own rows, enforced in the database. |
| A compliance team that is audited | Every decision signed by a second person and every action logged. Regulators and auditors read the same records your staff work on. |
Not the right tool if…
Section titled “Not the right tool if…”| You need… | Why not |
|---|---|
| A customer master or a core back-office ledger | CDD Core indexes customers from your source system and never writes particulars back. |
| Filing straight into AMLO’s system | There is no system-to-system link to AERS. Officers file themselves. For DA Dealers the system prepares the AERS XML file. |
| Decisions made without officers | The system scores, screens and routes. Approvals, adjudications and filings are signed by people. |
| Identity documents other than a Thai ID card or an NFC passport | KYC Core accepts exactly these two, by policy. Any other document needs a long list of supporting papers. |
| Transaction monitoring for a fund business | The fund edition does not receive fund transaction data, so suspicious-transaction work starts from letters, screening results, restrictions and what officers find. |
| A licence type outside fund management and DA Dealer | Other licences, for example a full securities licence, are scoped as a project for each institution. They are not available out of the box. |
What you need to bring
Section titled “What you need to bring”- Your own connections to NDID, DOPA and AMLO lists, where you use them. These are your rights as a reporting entity. QX connects as your outsourced provider, one institution at a time. See Integrations.
- Your policy values: review cycles shorter than the guideline ceilings, the screening threshold, idle sign-out time and US-person policy. Each is a controlled value with an owner. See Controls.
- People in the roles: maker, checker, approver, compliance officer, head of compliance, risk manager, internal audit and system admin.
