SAs, plans and books

Everything Agent Core pays comes from four sets of records the institution keeps: who its SAs are, what each AMC pays the distributor, what each SA’s plan gives them, and which customers belong to which SA. Every one of them is dated, and every change is proposed by one person and signed by another.

Who may do it: Commission Admin (proposes) · Checker — a different person (signs) · SA freelance (updates own tax profile for approval) · Compliance Viewer (reads).

FieldWhy it matters
SA code and type — employee or freelanceDecides the tax route at payout
IC licence number and expiryThe licence gate reads it every earning day
Status, start date, end dateNo earning before the start or after the end
Tax profile (freelance)Tax ID, withholding rate, VAT registration, bank account shown masked

A Team Lead can earn an override on the SAs below them, paid on top of the SA’s own amount, not taken from it. The table is optional: an institution with no hierarchy leaves it empty and every SA stands alone.

  • AMC and fund records, kept in step with the fund platform’s fund list.
  • Fee master — one row per fund per effective window: front-end fee %, switching fee %, management fee % a year, and the AMC’s sharing % to the distributor for upfront and for retention. Each row records its source (AMC letter, the institution’s workbook, or manual) and who approved it.
  • Import from the workbook loads the institution’s own fee table in one step; the rows still go through approval.

Each AMC pays a different upfront, so the fee master is where the institution’s agreements with its AMCs become numbers the engine uses.

A plan holds rules that add together:

RuleApplies to
Upfront %All funds, one AMC, one fund or one fund type
Trailer %Same scopes
Clawback daysThe window in which an early redemption reverses upfront
TierA rate that changes between two amounts

Plans carry effective dates and are assigned to SAs with their own dates, so a new plan starts on a given day and the old figures stay as they were.

  1. Commission Admin opens Assignments, picks the customer account and the SA, enters the split and the effective date, and states the reason.
  2. A checker signs. The assignment applies from its date.
  3. To move a whole book, pick the leaving SA, the receiving SA and the day; every account moves on that day.

Splits on one account always add up to 100% on every day. Retention follows the assignment day by day, so a book that moves mid-month pays each SA for the days it was theirs.

  • No change without a second signature on rates, plans, assignments and hierarchy.
  • No overlapping windows for the same fund or the same plan.
  • No split that does not add up to 100%.
  • Nothing is overwritten. A change ends one dated row and starts the next.
