1 Core System
1 Core System is the back office a Thai institution with anti-money-laundering duties runs every day: opening accounts, knowing its customers, screening names, reviewing customers on schedule, restricting accounts and keeping the evidence regulators ask for.
It is one platform with one sign-in and three modules. An institution can buy them together or one at a time.
The modules
Section titled “The modules”| Module | Who uses it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| KYC Core | Applicants, on the web or a phone | Online account opening: personal and work details, declarations, identity proofing with a face check, e-signature, FATCA self-certification, destination bank account. |
| CDD Core | The institution’s staff | Customer due diligence: risk scoring, name screening, periodic review (Re-KYC), account restrictions, letters from authorities, regulatory filings and record retention. |
| Agent Core | Sales, relationship managers, investment consultants, freelance agents | Commission and retention: reads fee files from the fund platform, applies allocation rules, calculates with maker and checker, and shows each agent their own figures in a portal. |
Principles
Section titled “Principles”People decide, the system measures. The system scores risk, matches names, counts deadlines and routes work. Decisions that carry responsibility are proposed by one person and signed by another. Once an application is signed, the account opens without anyone pressing a button.
CDD Core is an index, not a second customer master. Customer particulars stay in the source system (today FundConnext, or the institution’s own back office). CDD Core owns only the results of due-diligence work: risk, screening, reviews, adjudications, filings and retention. No screen lets an officer edit a customer’s particulars.
One set of screens, two licence types. The same product serves fund management businesses and Digital Asset Dealers. Menus that depend on a licence appear only for institutions that hold it.
Facts on screen. Screens state what happened and what is due. There are no warning paragraphs.
