Capital and regulatory reporting

Trading Core computes the figures a licensed dealer must watch every day and delivers regulator reports straight from the ledger.

Who uses it: risk and finance, in the back office.

  • Daily and monthly net liquid capital, computed from ledger and custody balances.
  • Asset haircuts and requirements are settings.
  • Peak exposure is tracked through the day.
  • A headroom warning fires when capital approaches the required level. Alerts go to risk and finance.
  • Output is prepared in the regulator’s Excel template formats for daily and monthly filing.
  1. Positions and custody balances are taken from the ledger at the scheduled times.
  2. Haircuts and requirements are applied from settings.
  3. Net liquid capital and headroom are computed and stored.
  4. If headroom falls below the warning level, risk and finance are alerted.
  5. The daily figures are filled into the regulator template and queued for submission.
  • A report outbox for the regulator’s digital-asset electronic reporting interface.
  • A mutual-TLS connection, with submissions queued, sent and retried automatically.
  • Every submission and response is kept with its reference.
  • A built-in test endpoint for rehearsing submissions before going live.
  • Append-only records for journals, events, screenings, Travel Rule messages, alerts, approvals and reconciliation runs.
  • Every setting change is logged with who, when, the old value and the new value.
  • Reports and statements regenerate from the same records, so filings and the ledger cannot drift apart.
  • Computes net liquid capital from the ledger; nobody types it.
  • Alerts risk and finance when headroom falls below the warning level.
  • Retries a failed submission and keeps every submission and response.
  • Logs every setting change with the old and the new value.
  • Builds filings from the same records as the ledger, so the two cannot disagree.
