Early warning by push
Section titled “Early warning by push”Staff who turn on notifications are told before a hazard arrives: at 17:00 the day before and 06:00 on the day, at most twice a day, when a value reaches danger level. The criteria are rain of at least 90.1 mm a day, a heat index of at least 42 °C, the Chao Phraya over its bank between Ayutthaya and Bangkok, or flooding detected by satellite.
Every BCP level change is pushed as well (see Incidents and command).
Map, route and cameras
Section titled “Map, route and cameras”- Map layers: flood points, road sections, BMA sensors, canals, 24-hour rain, citizen and news reports, free parking, traffic cameras and satellite flooding.
- Flood-avoiding route: from the employee’s position to the office or any place, avoiding reported flood points and, if chosen, flooded road sections. It compares the detour with the normal route and opens in a maps app. Routes are calculated for registered company e-mails.
- Cameras: near me, along the route, or within the map view.
Guides and numbers
Section titled “Guides and numbers”Each scenario has official links and short guides, for example a car stalled in water, water entering the home, a power or signal outage, being unable to reach the office, or being stranded. Emergency numbers are one tap away.
Public service
Section titled “Public service”The company can open a public window with forecast, map, route and cameras for anyone, collecting no personal data, and close it again. When it is closed, visitors see that the service is closed.
