Incidents and command
Who commands
Section titled “Who commands”| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| BCP head | Declare and close incidents, set the level, run roll calls, publish announcements, activate operators |
| BCP head (alternate) | The same as the head |
| BCP operator | Act on the open incident once activated by the head or the alternate |
The command screen opens only after the 6-digit code is confirmed.
Command versus operation. The head decides who operates. An operator’s right covers the open incident, or the next one declared, and ends when that incident closes or when it is revoked. A new incident needs a new activation. No one can activate themselves, and every activation and revocation is kept in the history.
BCP level
Section titled “BCP level”- Declaring an incident means choosing a scenario, naming the incident in Thai (and English), choosing the opening level and, optionally, publishing an announcement with it. Check-in opens immediately.
- Changing the level, in either direction, notifies every staff device that has notifications on.
- Closing stops check-in and tells staff “BCP level: Normal”. The incident’s announcement can be taken down at the same time, the operators’ activation for that incident ends, and the incident rooms become read only.
Roll call
Section titled “Roll call”Each incident runs in rounds. The head starts a new round when everyone should report again. The screen shows how many of the staff have reported in the current round.
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Check-in form | Work status, or safe / need help |
| Rounds | One-off, or daily |
Changing the form starts a new round.
Announcements
Section titled “Announcements”Announcements to staff carry a level: info, warning or urgent. They have a Thai title and optional English title and body. They show on every staff phone until taken down.
