Announcements and group advisory

The BCP head speaks to every employee through company announcements. In a group, the parent company can publish a group advisory; it appears beside your own BCP level as information, and your company still sets its own level by its own act.

Who may do it: the BCP head publishes company announcements, or orders the operator to. A group advisory is published by the parent company’s BCP head.

  1. Open Command and then Announcements.
  2. Choose the weight: info, warning or urgent.
  3. Write the title and the message in Thai, and in English if you want both.
  4. Tap Publish. The announcement is pushed to every staff phone and stays at the top of the app until you take it down.

You can publish an announcement together with a level change, so the order and its instructions arrive as one message.

A parent company may publish a group advisory for its subsidiaries: the hazard, a recommended level, the time, and a note.

  • It is shown on your command screen beside your own BCP level.
  • It never changes your level. Your BCP head reads it and, if the company agrees, orders your level by your own act.
  • It never pushes to your staff and never prepares a draft level for you.

This follows from Group advisory is display-only and Subsidiary-Independence.

The parent sees each subsidiary’s BCP level and incidents as soon as they change, through report-up. It reads them; it does not act on them.

  • Announcements reach every staff phone with notifications on, at once.
  • An advisory cannot set a subsidiary’s level. The database refuses any level change by a user of another company.
  • Every announcement and advisory is stamped with who published it and when.
