Customer statements and notices

CDD Core sends customers their statements in the institution’s name, from its own e-mail, on a deadline it measures. Figures are delivered exactly as received — never computed, rounded or converted — and every delivery is logged.

Who may do it: the system fetches and sends · Compliance Officer (handles failed deliveries) · Head of Compliance (approves) · Maker, Checker, Approver and Internal Audit (read).

  1. After the 2nd business day of the month, the system opens the cycle for the previous month.
  2. It fetches the statement files from the fund platform once a day until they arrive, and also accepts files an officer imports.
  3. Each file is matched to the customer’s account and e-mailed to every account that chose e-mail, every month — including months with no movement. Sending runs every 15 minutes, with no approval step.
  4. The e-mail carries a zip with a PDF and a CSV, opened with the password the file itself sets.
  5. The deadline is the 5th business day of the next month.
  1. Three rejected sends, an account with no e-mail, or an account with no file password become work for the Compliance Officer.
  2. Open the item and choose Send again, or Record delivery by another channel once the customer has it another way.
  3. When the fund platform has no file for the month, record that, and Import a file received another way.
  • Figures at the top: the cycle month, the deadline and the number of accounts in each delivery status.
  • Monthly cycles: each month’s status, the date the file arrived, the deadline and the counts.
  • Delivery log by account: account, customer, status, e-mail address, time sent, number of attempts and whether a PDF is attached.

Every delivery records the e-mail address, time, attempts, the e-mail provider’s reference and a hash of the CSV file.

DA Dealer edition — confirmations and statements

Section titled “DA Dealer edition — confirmations and statements”

Trade confirmations, transfers and deposits arrive as events from Trading Core. CDD Core issues the confirmation note for each trade and the statement from those events, in the institution’s name and through the same delivery log.

  • Figures are text from the source. The system does not compute, round or convert them.
  • No approval step sits between an arrived file and its delivery; the deadline is measured, not waited on.
  • The delivery log is never deleted.
